Open for Business
|
It’s been over 3 years since the dreaded COVID shutdown. We mourn the loss of so many lives, as well as the illness suffered by so many people, and the loss of so many businesses that struggled and lost during the depths of the pandemic. Now that we are approaching a more normal situation, we thought we fill you in on how things are going here at present. We are no longer routinely wearing masks in the office. The era of Community Levels reporting has passed. We will wear masks if a patient has a compromised immune system or other medical condition and requests that they be worn. Employees may continue to wear masks if and when they feel the necessity. Otherwise, you will again be able to see our smiling faces! We continue to request that you make appointments for all services including eyeglass selection and dispensing. (Appointments for eye examinations are required). Doing this helps us to concentrate on your personal needs with minimal distraction. We are again serving contact lens wearers. We continue to emphasize good hygiene when handling contact lenses to minimize the risk of bacterial or viral infections, as always! REST ROOM We continue to encourage everyone to use their home restroom before travelling to our office. The restroom remains available to patients if they need it (no, it's not locked) - however there is science that suggests that COVID transmission in restrooms is entirely possible. So - the fewer times that people share bathrooms beyond their normal circle of use, the lower the risk of COVID virus transmission. |
